Imperial Blasting is proud to play a part in the restoration of your car. We have invested a great deal of time and money into working out what blast media and blast methods work best on cars, this ensures you the best possible base to begin your restoration. We are NOT industrial blasters. People often ask us why they should use us to blast their car compared to a cheaper industrial blaster? The answer is simple would you rather your car be painted by an Automotive spray painter or an Industrial painter? They both paint and in general terms they both do the same job, but seriously who do you think it going to achieve the best finish? The same goes for blasting, you don't want someone who blasted a trailer this morning to blast your car this afternoon. They don't understand what finish and level of detail is required for a quality restoration and often they can cause serious damage to your vehicle that could cost thousands to repair.

Powder Coating
-Although we out source our powder coating, we work closely with a quality company who can provide great results. We have colour charts in our office as well as examples so you can see the expected results. We blast your items the day they are required for powder coating and deliver them to the powder coaters foryou. We pick them up when ready so you can just call into our workshop and pick them up. We often find that many customers will get us to powder coat all their suspension parts while we are blasting their body shell and panels, so everything is all ready to go at the same time. Powder coating is available in a huge array of colours and gloss levels from flat, to satin to gloss. The powder coating is high quality but still thin enough to clearly see factory spot welds, not think and chunky like cheaper finishes. Zinc Plating
- We are currently in the process of setting up our plating system, however we currently outsource our plating. While your bodyshell is being blasted we can have all your bolts, brackets, hinges, etc stripped, de-rusted and plated ready to use when you reassemble your car. This will save your litterally days of work in cleaning those fiddly parts. In many cases the end result is hard to pick from a NOS item. More info soon....

Rust repair sections
- We can supply you with all your rust repair sections. When your car leaves our workshop you will have all the available pre-fabbed repair sections ready for your panel beater. Saving you and your panel shop time in trying to source the panels they will need. Not only does this save you time and money it will encourage your panel beater to give you a higher level of finish on your car as you as the customer will have made their job easier by supplying all the available repair sections they will need.

Reproduction panels and Rust repair sections
- Often during the blasting process we will find rust in your car, this generally may be the reason you are getting the car blasted. However until your car is blasted you won't know exactly which areas of your car are repairable, or would be better replaced completely, be it a floor pan section or a whole panel. RestoPrep offers a whole range of new reproduction panels from a variety of suppliers including the New Old Car Company, Rare Spares and many others. This allows you to order the panels you need at a great price without having to search around 10 different suppliers. New reproduction panels in most cases are very high quality and have proven to save you hundreds of dollars over repairing even good quality original panels. E.g an Original XY Falcon front guard could easily cost you $1000 to repair at a decent panel shop, where as a quality reproduction panel can be purchased through us for around $750, again saving you money, time and a NEW panel is far more likely to last the test of time than a repaired original. Strut, brake and steering kits for Early Falcons / Mustangs

Full bolt in strut conversions, Big brake upgrades, Rack and Pinion steering conversions, 3 link rear suspension kits, all bolt in, engineerable and street legal. Dismantling
- Not keen to pull your car apart? Just short on time and keen to get your car to the panel shop? No problem, at RestoPrep were experienced in the careful dismantling of vehicles. We can strip your car down from any point, be it a street rego'd driver, a barn find or an almost bare shell where you just ran out of time to remove those last few parts.
- We will bag and tag all parts, label wiring and box everything. If required we can also sort the parts into groups. E.g the parts your panel shop will need to do your panel and paint, the items that your likely to need to restore before refitting and the items that are ready to go back on when the car is reassembled.

Pick up & Delivery Service
- We can arrange both pick up and delivery of your vehicle in virtually any area. Our workshop offers easy access for Tilt trays, car trailers or
even car transporters for those vehicles coming via vehicle logistics companies. We have access to lifting frames & forklifts so non-rolling body shells are not a problem.
